What is GeneSight Testing?
The GeneSight Psychotropic test is a genetic test that shows your healthcare provider how your genes may affect your outcomes with commonly prescribed mental health medications. The test provides personalized information about how a patient metabolizes or responds to medications commonly prescribed to treat depression, anxiety, ADHD and other psychiatric conditions.

How will I receive my results?
Test results are typically available within 2 business days after the results have been received by lab. Eastside Psychiatry and TMS Center will schedule a follow up appointment the following week after testing to discuss GeneSight results and medication next steps. We use FedEx same day services for tests done before 4:00pm during business hours. After 4:00pm, it will be shipped via FedEx next business day.
How much is Genesight Testing?
95 percent of GeneSight patients pay $330.0 or less for the test. The GeneSight Promise is that if we determine a patient’s out-of-pocket cost to be greater than $330, we will contact them before processing the test.
